SupportNJ SHARES partners with many to provide assistance through advocacy and fundraising. Many utility customers contribute to NJ SHARES and are an important funding source, making NJ SHARES a fund in which neighbors help neighbors. Customer contributions raised through utility bill inserts are matched by the participating utility. The 270 partner organizations provide more than 325 access points for clients to apply for NJ SHARES' programs. Partner organizations receive training and support services from NJ SHARES. NJ SHARES joined thousands of charitable organizations on iGive.com, the first online charity shopping mall. Through iGive.com, our neighbors can shop online at hundreds of merchants and at the same time, support NJ SHARES at no extra cost. |
