| New Jersey SHARES Elects New Board Member
Hightstown, NJ — May 17, 2001 — On April 20, 2001, in its regularly scheduled Board meeting held at AARP
State headquarters in Princeton, New Jersey, the Board of Directors of
the New Jersey SHARES (Statewide Heating Assistance and Referral for Energy
Services) program elected Francis E. Dolan to a one year term as an 'At
Large' member of the Board of Directors of New Jersey SHARES, Inc. New
Jersey SHARES, Inc. is a statewide charitable program that financially
assists needy New Jersey residents with their electric and natural gas
bills.
Mr. Dolan currently serves as Executive Director of Catholic Charities,
Diocese of Trenton, which was recognized with a Peter Drucker Award for
Innovation. He also serves as the present chairman of the New Jersey Catholic
Council on Social Issues and chairs the New Jersey Catholic Charities
' Directors group. In the past, Mr. Dolan has served as a review team
member for the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Mr. Dolan has
an MSW from Temple University and a BA in Philosophy from St. Charles
Seminary.
